Mumbai CIty

After the tragedy and heartbreak for all those who lost their loved ones, and all those who are still struggling to cope with hurt and pain and trauma they and their family are going through, there is still an uneasy calm in the city.

Four days of watching our brave hearts and ordinary people giving support to all that were affected has given hope to a city which is fast losing its charm of being the most safest place in the country.

I'm totally shattered that a city and country boasting of having the best of minds and manpower and a booming economy and Billioniares had to see this happen again and again.

Going back to our own selfish way of living, because as long as our loved ones were not affected by all these attacks it doesn't really matters, and we will move on with our daily lives saying the city bounces back.

Loud bangs of fire cracker (sutli bombs) shatter my peace as I write this blog and confirm the above that indeed what a selfish and senseless mind could be doing this at this hour and after all what has happened.

Lessons to be learned, what went wrong, what was the politicans doing, who is to blame, all this is all we will hear till the next tragedy happens and all this will be forgotten. Move to the next all party meeting, few political points to score, transfer of some police chief, havaldars, officers, big banner headlines that so much crores have been allocated for the prevention of any more attacks.

Salute to the bravehearts and ordinary people who saved us. But how many such lives will be lost till we can have peace.

I thank and salute the following:

NSG Commandos
Army

Navy
Police
Fire Brigade
Hospital Staff
Local People
Ambulance Drivers
BEST Drivers
News Reporters
Blood Donors

God Bless our Country and let peace be with one and all.
